The webinar was organised by the Dublin Regional Enterprise Plan to 2020 and is hosted by The Open Doors Initiative.
Business Start-Up for People with Disabilities Webinar 2

The goal for this event was to inform attendees about supports that people with disabilities can access when becoming self-employed. The speakers were as follows:

- Prof Tom Cooney (TU Dublin - Moderator)
- Audrey McPartlin (Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection) explained welfare benefits and start-up supports
- Larry O'Neill (South Dublin County Partnership) spoke about the training programmes available through Local Development Companies
- Eric Lambe (Stepup Ireland) spoke about his initiative which empowers people with disabilities to become entrepreneurs

The next webinar will take place on November 5th and people will be able to register on Eventbrite after October 14th.
