Applications to RiseUP:StartUP 2026 are now open!

We are delighted to open applications to the StartUP phase of our RiseUP programme to support migrant and refugee entrepreneurs in Ireland. The programme is delivered in partnership with Broadlake and TU Dublin.

In its pilot phase, we have supported 7 migrant-led businesses, who have received training, mentorship, and access to expert advice for a six-month period. Now, we are launching an improved version of this programme based on our learnings from the pilot and a National Migrant Entrepreneurship Survey conducted in 2026.

The new programme offers a more intensive and structured approach, with weekly workshops delivered by an experienced migrant entrepreneur and lecturer. It will last 10 weeks, running from October to December 2026, and cover topics such as business planning, legal compliance, taxation, and customer acquisition, topics highlighted in the survey. Selected participants will be supported by a business mentor from Broadlake throughout the programme, and have access to expert advisers from partners like Enterprise Ireland, Fenero, and a legal partner (to be announced).

To be eligible to apply, you must:

  • Be a migrant, refugee or asylum seeker living in Ireland, including those under Temporary Protection or under the International Protection system
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a registered business in Ireland
  • Have developed your business in Ireland for at least 6 months
  • Have invested at least €1,000 in your business
  • Have a business idea that you have already explored and can clearly explain
  • Be available to attend all sessions (see dates in the programme brochure)

Please read the full programme brochure carefully before applying.

To apply, please submit this application form by Friday, September 4th at 11:59pm.
